(Toronto, November 29, 2024) We are pleased to announce JMIR Cardio has met the editorial criteria for inclusion in the Web of Science™. This also means that JMIR Cardio may receive its inaugural journal impact factor as early as 2025, which is a major achievement for the Journal. This is consistent with Clarivate's recent announcement that JIFs will be expanded to all Web of Science™ Core Collection journals.
This milestone serves as a testament to the Journal’s contribution to original research related to the special emphasis on health services research and electronic / digital health approaches in cardiology and for cardiovascular health, as well as the dedication of the Editorial Board overseeing the Journal.
