Subtitle A of the 2016 Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) mandates that each VA medical center have a designated pain management team to treat and coordinate pain care for veterans [15]. This approach to pain management favors a biopsychosocial approach, which conceptualizes chronic pain conditions as complex and multidimensional, emphasizing interdisciplinary integrated models of care, as outlined in the VA’s Stepped Care Model for Pain Management (SCM-PM) [16-18].

Conventional exercise therapy is typically administered on an outpatient basis under the guidance of a physiotherapist. However, the benefits of having a trained physiotherapist may be offset by drawbacks such as difficulties in scheduling appointments or a limited number of training sessions available due to regulatory limitations of German statutory health insurance.

Indices may be useful for informing clinical care, policy, and research; however, many publicly available indices exist without clear guidance or a gold standard for when or which index should be used. In many cases, investigators choose indices based on familiarity or available geographic information [21]. Our work seeks to examine the concordance of 3 indices by testing these indices on a single-state pediatric central nervous system (CNS) tumor cohort.

Therefore, we aimed to establish a digital home-based health care center (DHHC) that includes a smartphone to assess Qo L and document visual side effects, a smartwatch to record ECGs, and a white blood cell (WBC) system to analyze a patient’s WBCs from capillary blood. The primary focus of this study was to assess the feasibility and acceptance of such a digital remote system for cancer care in order to tailor a patient-centered solution and improve access to quality care.

We will enroll veterans aged 55 years and older who are currently at risk for a fall (defined as a four-square step test [FSST] time >12 seconds [24], or a history of a previous fall in the last year, or a reported fear of falling). This study has 6 phases, completed over ~15 months per person. Figure 1 details the study design, and Figure 2 shows the study timeline. The study protocol follows the SPIRIT (Standard Protocol Items: Recommendations for Interventional Trials) guidelines [25].

In this study, we used a multistage, stakeholder-driven, iterative method of language adaptation to adapt the original REACH barrier content to a Latino, Spanish-speaking population with T2 D, focusing on identifying barriers to diabetes medication adherence of relevance to this population.

As described previously [10], recruited patients with surgical intervention for POP using transvaginal polypropylene mesh included both those with mesh exposure, a postsurgical complication where the implanted mesh protrudes through the vaginal wall, and those without. A cohort of 20 healthy, nonpregnant female patients, divided evenly between the 2 categories, was determined necessary for statistical observation of a difference in blood cytokine biomarkers with a 10% chance of error.

Specifically, narcissistic trait attraction will be measured using an unnamed scale previously used by Haslam and Montrose [50] in a study assessing narcissistic trait attraction among a sample of young adult heterosexual females. Haslam and Montrose [50] asked participants to consider 20 statements relating to the extent that they found narcissistic personality traits attractive in a potential mate.

This RCT follows up on a pilot study (N=22) of the same BITT program, which previously demonstrated promising results, including a reduction in PTSD symptoms up to 3 months post treatment [34].
The primary objective of this RCT is to assess the effectiveness of a BITT compared to a waitlist control group (WLCG) in reducing symptoms of PTSD among adolescents aged 12-18 years.

The objective is to compare the effectiveness of a 1-year digital dietary intervention on body weight reduction and improved diet quality, in adults living with obesity delivered by dietitians in a primary care setting, with a control group.
The chat2 (Connecting Health and Technology 2) study is a 1-year randomized controlled trial (RCT). Consenting participants will be randomly assigned (1:1) to an intervention or minimal intervention control group.
