Serum sodium levels were categorized as hyponatremia if below 135 mmol/L and hypernatremia if above 145 mmol/L, with values within this range considered normal. Similarly, CRP levels greater than 3 mg/L indicated elevated levels in adults aged 65 years and older [47], while values within the normal range were not considered clinically significant.
