It was it was kind of a revelation like, well, man, I’m holding a lot of negativities. And I think, you know, I feel lighter, I guess after writing for that prompt and doing a second one around the same kind of topics. Participants also expressed that they were better able to open their minds to new thoughts and forgiveness of others and themselves at the end versus the start of the workshop.

Participants had to meet the following inclusion criteria: (1) being Chinese male individuals aged ≥18 years and (2) having engaged in anal intercourse with at least one man in the previous 6 months (geographic information and location of the study sites are presented in Figure 1). Recruitment and data collection methods were similar between Beijing and Hong Kong.
