The first figure in the publication by Meyer et al [15] illustrates the structure of the revised intervention.
This multimethod study aimed to evaluate the acceptability of the revised KINDER intervention among caregivers of persons with dementia to support future implementation. Evidence of acceptability is particularly important for the KINDER intervention, given the sensitive nature of the topics covered, which could deter future participation among caregivers.

The Confidently Navigating Financial Decisions and Enhancing Financial Well-Being in Dementia Caregiving (CONFIDENCE) intervention was developed to reduce financial stress and lower Latino caregivers’ out-of-pocket spending on care costs by displacing such spending with community and informal resources and facilitating help-seeking behaviors (personal communication by Dr Kylie Meyer, 2024).

The primary end point is the change in the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) motor score from the start of treatment to 3 months later.
Our secondary objectives are as follows:
To compare the effects of botulinum toxin A and placebo on motor recovery (FMA) over 3 months and establish clinical equivalence.
To evaluate the impact of treatment on motor recovery (main objective and placebo comparison) based on initial FMA-upper extremity (FMA-UE) scores.
