For child symptoms of anxiety, depression, and sleep problems, caregivers of children respond to screener items from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fifth Edition, Text Revision) (DSM-V-TR) Cross-Cutting Symptom Measure screeners [33]. If a response of 2 or greater is given to any screener, they complete the corresponding PROMIS (Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System) anxiety, depression, or sleep assessment [34].
