Kato et al [20] have developed a “living laboratory“ to facilitate ADLs assessment with Theia3 D and to study the impact of assistive robots on ADLs in a simulated living environment. This living laboratory includes an indoor environment as well as a simulated outdoor environment to mimic natural living conditions. However, the reliability of markerless motion capture in the living laboratory setting has not been investigated in detail.
