As a result, the long ignored prevention of hypertension is being addressed, emphasizing the improvement of modifiable risk factors as a public priority. Previous studies have identified some modifiable risk factors related to hypertension, including excessive drinking, smoking, unhealthy diet, and lack of exercise [14-16]. Some researchers spotted the link between sleep and hypertension and concluded that sleep duration and quality were strongly associated with the risk of hypertension [17-19].
