The initial differences between groups for demographic characteristics and the baseline scores of each scale were examined with independent t and chi-square tests. The effects of the web-based integrated management program on the coping strategy, medication adherence, HRQo L, and readmission events were examined using a generalized estimating equation (GEE) [31].

Independent t-tests and Chi-square tests were carried out to examine the homogeneity of characteristics between the two groups. Group differences were examined using the generalized estimating equation (GEE). The outcomes were tested at the 5% two-tailed level of significance.
Of the 356 enrolled patients, 18 did not meet the inclusion criteria and 116 (32.6%) declined to participate.
