A Kolmogorov–Smirnov test was also used to test for normality with nonstatistical significance (P>.05), indicating that the data were normally distributed. Independence of observations was tested using the Durbin–Watson test, which yielded a coefficient of 1.905. As a rule of thumb, values between 1.5 and 2.5 are considered normal [26]. Linearity was confirmed by the appearance of a linear representation of standardized residuals on a scatterplot.
