We obtained ethical approval from the Institutional Review Board of The University of Hong Kong/Hospital Authority Hong Kong West Cluster (UW 16-1019), The Joint Chinese University of Hong Kong-New Territories East Cluster Clinical Research Ethics Committee (2016.679-T), and New Territories West Cluster Research Ethics Committee (NTWC/CREC/16123). The clinical trial was registered at the United States National Institutes of Health (clinicaltrials.gov; NCT03034330).
