In this study, although mean improvements in 6 MWT distance of 14 m and 12 m were observed in the intervention group and the control group, respectively, at the 8-week follow-up, these improvements were not clinically significant. A 25-m improvement in the 6 MWT distance has been considered clinically meaningful for patients with CHD undergoing CR [31].

A total of 20 healthy adults (9 female; height: mean 1.73 [SD 0.1] m; body mass: mean 71.6 [SD 11.0] kg; fat mass: mean 17.0% [SD 7.8%]; age: mean 40 [SD 10] years; and International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form [IPAQ-SF] [17] Physical Activity Category: high=20, moderate=0, and low=0) volunteered and provided written informed consent to participate in the study.
