The data contained information about patient portal user logins, their corresponding time stamps, and demographic data such as gender, age, and region of living. In addition, the first appointment at the study site after their registration and COVID-19 vaccination dates was extracted.
In order to investigate the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, additional data from the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health were used [16].

Thus, while there is research on how narrative influences health [5-8], and research on health representation and gender representation in media [18-23], there is little research that explores the overlap between health outcomes and gender representation in media, a gap we aimed to address in this study.

“Transgender and gender diverse” (TGD) is an umbrella term for people whose gender identities differ from societal expectations related to the sex they were assigned at birth. Some TGD people may choose to undergo gender-affirming surgery or pursue other forms of gender-affirming care at any point in their lives to alleviate gender dysphoria and better align their physical characteristics with their gender identity.

As model inputs, we used the patient’s age, gender, and all prior recorded vital signs, laboratory values, medications, and prior CAM assessments present in the medical record at 5 AM before the 24 hours in which delirium was to be predicted. Categorical values were converted to integers (eg, “1” for “Positive,” “0” for “Negative”).

Data from Chat GPT-4 and Menta LLa MA replies were copied to an Excel sheet, indicating the vignette number, gender, sexual orientation, and round number. Female gender and heterosexual orientation were coded as “0.” We performed all analyses in RStudio [64]. Data quality of Menta LLa MA results was low and yielded no reliable results (Multimedia Appendix 1).

Women-identifying and women+ gender faculty (women+ is inclusive of different identities pertaining to gender, hereto described as women+ faculty) in medicine and biomedical sciences face numerous barriers to career advancement. These barriers include fewer invitations to keynote speaking engagements, reduced academic promotion rates, decreased leadership opportunities, and disparities in research funding and other research metrics [1-4].

Extracting comorbidities for an index condition based on age, gender, and other features required intensive computation power and storage capacity when dynamic linking the patient and clinical tables. The same challenge was seen for other data analyses.

Independence between surveys was tested with the t test for continuous variables (eg, age), and with the chi-square test for gender, education, and health literacy. We performed linear regressions to analyze associations between the 4 periods and level of worry (model A), self-reported adherence (model B), and perceived adherence of others to restrictions (model C).
