The aim of this scoping review is to identify knowledge gaps regarding the user experience design and its evaluation for older adults using transportation planning e-tools. This scoping review was based on Arksey and O’Malley’s [23] framework with the following stages: (1) identifying the research question; (2) identifying the relevant sources; (3) selecting the studies; (4) charting the data; and (5) collecting, summarizing, and reporting results.

Second, we extended the literature search period beyond the planned period to include up-to-date studies.
