The AF and control groups were compared using t test for continuous variables and χ2 test or Fisher exact tests for dichotomous variables. All HRV data were analyzed by the AI arrhythmia detection algorithm in 30-second time windows. The performance of the AI arrhythmia detection algorithm in AF detection from HRV recordings was quantified using accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value (NPV), and positive predictive value (PPV).
